After reading "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas," this is to talk about what makes the students feel "Grinchy" (which in simple terms is grouchy, grumpy, etc.). Next, strategies are discussed on how to get "Un-Grinchy." (What calm down, self-regulation techniques could be used? Ex/ take a walk, talk to a friend, eat or drink something, hit a pillow, squish a stress ball, etc.).
