Grocery Store Bingo

A fun way for students to learn to identify grocery store items or a game to use during a food/ nutrition unit. For best use/ durability, print on cardstock paper, and laminate bingo boards and calling cards. Play in a small group or with a group of 15 students. Rules are like regular Bingo. The “shopping cart” or “grocery bag” is the free space on each board. Includes 15 “Grocery Store Bingo Cards,” “Grocery Store Bingo Calling Cards” with pictures so teacher or students can be the “caller” and two “Grocery Lists” with pictures and words listing all of the groceries used on the bingo boards. Great idea for a special education class prior to taking a community trip to a grocery store.

Grocery Store Scavenger Hunt

Need something fun to make community trips more meaningful? Use this activity with special education classes while taking community trips to the grocery store. Put each scavenger hunt sheet on a clipboard and have students work in pairs, with an adult, or in a small group to find and check off each item on their list. This activity can be used with students of all levels, as it includes great visuals paired with words. Lists can be used multiple times because there are 10 different versions! Also includes a list of common grocery store aisles. This product is great for generalization and real-life practice.

Favorite Foods

Learn about student's favorite food and drinks with this creative, engaging product!! Great social activity for students with autism and/ or special needs. These cut/ paste and sorting activities are ideal for young learners who are learning to express themselves and differentiate between their likes and dislikes. Includes cut and paste activities for favorite foods (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack), favorite drinks, and a likes/ dislikes sorting activity.
