This is a task card set for students learning how to sort food items by departments in a grocery store.
To start, cut out all of the task cards by following the dotted lines on each of the sheets 3-17. You can keep them in an envelope, zip-lock bag, or use a binder ring to keep them together. Students can then use a paper clip or dry erase marker to mark which department the food item belongs in.
There are six departments for this task card set; frozen, produce, dairy, house hold, meat, and bakery. All of the pictures are real life pictures from Google images to give students as much of a real life perspective without going into a grocery store.
Also included are four assessment sheets. They can be used to determine which cards students know by ten, twenty, or thirty task cards.
