Engage and assess what your students (grades 1-8) hear in a fun, creative and artistic way as you study about either the Grand Canyon and/or Death Valley or music by the composer, Ferde Grofe. Songs featured in this set include: "Desert Water Hole" (from Death Valley Suite), "On the Trail," "Sunset," and "Cloudburst (from Grand Canyon Suite). Play a recording (not included) and have your students listen and color the picture by following the color code key. Great as a whole class activity, a workstation or for your sub tub!
Each song comes with pre-made listening glyphs (see below for the amount for each song), plus a blank (so you can choose which elements you want your students to listen for), and a page for additional suggestions you could have your students listen for.
♬ "Desert Water Hole" (8 + 1 blank)
