Cut and laminate the icons of grooming items and the sentence strip. These pieces can be attached using velcro to the template page. I then keep the page in the students' grooming bins. When students are grooming and they run out of something, they can pull that item off of the sheet, add it to their sentence strip, and put it in their desk organizer in the classroom. Then, they (and I!) have a reminder for what they need to buy on our next community trip.
I like this because it puts some of the responsibility of keeping grooming bins stocked on the students. It also helps teach students that, if they finish something, it usually needs to be replaced.
I made this using Boardmaker.
