Set of Doggie emotion cards for concentration.
I also keep a set of these on a ring in the calm down-safe place of my classroom to help kids IDENTIFY how they are feeling. Naming their emotions helps them feel more in control of how they feel and helps teachers be able to “emotion coach” with the children in the classroom.
There is also a board game for cover the dog….put the doggie emotion cards in the center of the table, take turns picking a card. They can just cover that emotion or they can describe something that may make them feel that way.
Last…doggie emotion play dough mat:
Use with the emotion cards and roll play dough snakes and make the dogs face that emotion.
