Welcome to the Groundhog Book Report. Everyone loves groundhogs and Groundhog’s Day. This book report takes that fun and makes for a great project. Students write about a good book all on a groundhog graphic. It tells people to “Pop out of their hole and read this book.”
This worksheet will work well with any age of students, but especially with students from first grade through third grade. Students will choose a favorite book and write about it on a groundhog graphic. This project gives you three options. In the first worksheet, students fill out information on book’s title and author and then color a drawing of the book. The second worksheet has the same information including writing about why they like the book. The third worksheet has the options of the second sheet without the drawing and including a summary section. This works great for displays or bulletin boards.
