Groundhog Day is a fun holiday tradition in the US and Canada. Every year, people in these countries wait to see if the groundhog, Phil, will see its shadow. The end of winter and the coming of spring are predicted on whether the groundhog sees its shadow or not.
Kids of all ages will have a blast playing this fun fill-in-the-blanks game. They will create hilarious stories as they fill in their own nouns, adjectives, and more about Groundhog Day.
It's best to play this game in pairs. One person asks his/her partner to name something in the appropriate category. That person writes down what the other person says in the appropriate blank. When they are finished, they read the story out loud to their friend. Take turns and switch roles so each person gets a chance to be in each role.
