  • Color-Coded Text Evidence: Students use different colors to find and underline specific evidence within the text, helping them master the skill of citing sources.
  • Comprehension Questions: Three written-response questions challenge students to define vocabulary like "hibernate" and think critically about the tradition.
  • Persuasive Writing Activity: In "A Letter to Phil," students practice their writing skills by trying to convince the groundhog to predict the weather they want to see.

Mathematics: Color by Code

This pack includes three different versions of double-digit addition color-by-code activities to help you easily differentiate for your students:
