This one-page document helps your students practice determining fact and opinion. After reading a two-paragraph passage about groundhogs, students must determine whether three statements from the passage are facts or opinions. Then they must identify one more fact and one more opinion from the passage. This could easily be used as an exit slip by having students choose one of their answers from the worksheet and explain how they determined whether it was a fact or an opinion. I also have many other fact and opinion worksheets in my store.
