If you liked the first rhythm set 1 in this series, you'll love this one just as much. This adorable listening identification game is an extension of rhythm set 1 and quizzes students' knowledge on their understanding of various rhythm patterns that include rhythms ta (quarter note), ti-ti (paired eighths), and Z or ta rest (quarter rest). Mr. Groundhog hears a rhythm pattern being played and the student(s) have to identify the correct pattern in order to move on to the next one. Pages are interactively linked so that if the incorrect answer is chosen, they must listen again. If the correct answer is selected, they move to the next pattern. This is the POWER-POINT version of this file. Be sure you have the appropriate software available to run this program. This lesson is also available for purchase in my store in SMART NOTEBOOK format as well.
