For this math activity, the students find the missing number to multiplication sentences. The missing number could be one of the factors or the product. Then the students use their answers to color a picture of a Groundhog peaking his head out of a hole in the ground.
This is a cute way to celebrate Groundhog's Day within your math lesson. My students love solving the problems correctly so that they can color the picture correctly.
