This is an activity where students identify the beginning and ending sounds in words using groundhogs. In this activity students match the picture on the ball ball to the groundhogs that have the beginning and ending sound of the picture. Print this activity on card stock, laminate for durability and have students start practicing. This is a great activity for a learning station working with letters and words. Great for Kindergarten or lower level first graders. This activity comes with one worksheet which can be used for additional practice or assessment where students have to cut and paste a picture to the correct beginning and ending sound on the groundhogs.
