You can use these sheets by “plugging in” the data you collect after giving an assessment. If you don’t have a program that analyzes data for you such as DMAC, you could analyze your data on these sheets.
These are designed to use to track data ONE particular Assessment at a time.
1.) Write all of your student names across the top in the boxes.
2.) Put a check mark next to the TEKS that were mastered.
3.) Put an X next to the TEKS that were NOT mastered.
4.) Mark through the TEKS that were not included on that particular assessment or simply highlight the skills that were included. If you use the digital version, you can delete those rows.
5.) You can then see which skills most of your class is struggling with and you need to re-teach as a class or you can create groups based on the difficult skills they have in common.
