This is a visual support for clients working on the Social Thinking concept of Group Plan versus Own Plan. The two images are intended to be printed on either side of the same piece of cardstock, then laminated. The speech bubbles should be printed on cardstock, cut out, and affixed at an appropriate place on each image with velcro so it can be used to teach clients to use their words to change the Group Plan (and can be omitted for clients who are not ready for that level of teaching).
Once laminated, dry-erase markers may be used to fill in the thought bubbles with words or drawings to demonstrate what members of the group are thinking about (Group Plan) vs. what the client is thinking about (Own Plan). The same can be done with the removable speech bubbles.
There is both a black and white version and a colour version. The faces are intentionally left blank to be as generic as possible and so instructors can draw in facial expressions (with dry-erase markers) as needed.
I developed this for use at my workplace where we serve many children who work on Social Thinking goals.
