The following rubric was designed by students. It is a tool they use to assess both themselves and their peers after/while they have been completing group work assignments.
Students brainstormed as a class at the beginning of the year to determine what characteristics make a good team member. Once characteristics were determined, students worked in groups to write levels of effectiveness.
Each student has a copy of the rubric glued into their notebook that they can refer to as a reminder during their group work :)
When it's time, students complete the half sheet (pg 2) by evaluating both themselves and their peers.
