Print, laminate and cut out the cards (40 cards total – 4 cards per Linear Function).
Each student gets one card. (Each card will have either a linear equation in slope-intercept form, a linear equation in standard form, a slope, x-intercept and y-intercept, or a graph).
Have the students interact with each other for a time, share the information from their card, and find a complete group.
In groups, have the students share out as to their thought processes on how they found their group. Have them emphasize the connections between the cards that justifies why their cards should be grouped.
