Teach children helpful and unhelpful thoughts and behaviors to keep confident with this fun activity, Escape From Mindset Jail.
Mindset jail (fixed mindset) is an uncomfortable place our confidence goes when we believe negative thoughts we tell ourselves, such as, “we can’t do this.”
When our confidence is sent to mindset jail we talk negatively about ourselves, we avoid doing things, we do not take risks, and we give up easily, preventing us from being successful.
The goal of this activity is to open a conversation about the behaviors and words that can be used to grow self-confidence towards success, and escape from mindset jail.
