This classroom guidance lesson reviews the differences between fixed and growth mindset statements (Fixed Frosty and Growth Glacier!). Introduce levels of mindset using a snowman-building analogy. Students identify a challenge they are currently facing, build a snowman to represent their current mindset, and build another snowman to represent the mindset they want to have in one week.
Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline/script, materials list, ASCA standards alignment, session objectives assessment, visual aids, craft materials, and PowerPoint containing visual aids.
