Growth Mindset Task Cards - SEL Skills

Help kids and young adults learn about growth mindset by understanding hard work, persistence, grit, and dedication impact your success. This is an important social emotional skill for success! Students use the task cards to practice a growth mindset in all areas of their life, including at school, home, activities, with friends, and in their own belief system. How to Use

Here are some ways to use the task cards:

• Students can read the cards as a whole group and take turns sharing answers and ideas.

• Partner students to take turns asking and answering prompts.

• Use as a bell ringer or “do now” to start your class or group.

• Use as short journal prompts prior to sharing

• Use as advisory period lessons and discussion starters
