I have used this worksheet in both Grades 1 & 2 when learning about 3D shapes!
Students choose a 3D shape of their choice and...
* identify number vertices
* identify number of edges
* identify number of flat faces
Students also have the chance to list 3 objects/items that their 3D shape has seen posing as (e.g., a sphere poses as a soccer ball, a cylinder poses as a pop can)
Students have space to draw their 3D shape outline as well a picture of their shape in real life (e.g., ice cream cone for cone)
* ALSO - this is a great assessment piece!
