Guess Who? A great way to introduce students at the beginning of the year, or to use during a Human Body or All About Me Unit. This can be done as homework, during Math or during Writing. Once the sheet is filled out, fold them in a zig zag pattern so that you can see the top portion of the page. Remember, don't have students write their name anywhere on the sheet. Next, place all of the sheets in a basket and choose a student to pull one out, read the first section and then poll the audience on who they think the person is. The audience has three guesses. If all guesses are incorrect, the student reads the middle section, and so on until someone guesses correctly. When someone guesses correctly, that person can come up and say 3 nice things about the person on the sheet. If no one guesses correctly, have the student who wrote the sheet come up and everyone says one nice thing about him or her. Or, you can make up your own rules as you go along. However you choose, this is sure to be a hit with everyone!
