This game is very similar to Milton Bradley's game 'Guess Who.' The students divide into groups. Each student receives a Character Board and a Student Worksheet. The students answer problems involving naming polar coordinates given a graph with points as well as selecting the point which does not name the given point in a multiple choice type format. Each of the four multiple choice solutions has a clue which will lead eliminate incorrect characters. Solve all the problems correctly and it will lead the students to the correct character. "Wearing a hat" or "Has facial hair" are some of the clues. If the students work the 6 questions correctly, they will have one character left - hopefully the correct character.
My students LOVED this game and even asked to play again. I was happy that they were happy AND working math problems. That usually does not happen together. Ha!
