This interactive and engaging classroom activity, leads the students through numerous skills that revolve around zoo animals. Students must use their higher order thinking skills to come up with various attributes of animals such as size, coverings, habitat, etc.. They then list them for various zoo animals, such as: giraffe, peacock, elephant, zebra, flamingo, snake and bat (which are all included). They then print them on the booklet page and the reader must guess the animal. Turn the page and there is the answer with a color (black and white is also provided) photo of the animal! This is a wonderful product to included in your animal unit or to use as a precursor to your Zoo Field Trip. It can also be used in Guided Reading Small Groups. Color copies of each page are provided so you can make a classroom book for your library. The students will love it and it is a perfect interactive activity for the entire classroom!
The wonderful Animal Photos are available at Anne Weaver's Store, a TpT Seller!
