I know most teachers probably use GoNoodle or YouTube for providing brain breaks for students, but most substitutes or guest teachers in my district don’t have access to a computer! To fix this, I created these “Guest Teacher Brain Break Cards.”
Simply cut out the exercises, put them on a binder ring, and leave them for your guest teacher!
(I also leave the following directions in my sub plans:)
Brain Breaks: I have left a packet of guest teacher brain break exercises for you to use with the kiddos whenever they look like they need a “brain break” or are getting restless/jumpy – Just pull one off, and do the activity listed. If you don’t do all of them, NO WORRIES – it’s just a way for us to stretch and take a break when necessary. ☺
