This lesson is a super-sized lesson! This lesson is for grades 3,4 and 5, and contains the Common Core standards for each grade level as well as a few suggestions for modifying the lesson for each level.
This is based on a simple activity that will only require multi-colored stickers (dots, stars, etc.) This activity was designed to illustrate what happens when someone is excluded without pointing fingers. The counselor will construct a social experiment that is in a safe environment that will foster good discussion on empathy, tolerance and the emotional effects of "cliques" or purposefully excluding others. This lesson is four pages long, using my "Guidance lesson template" document in my store. This document was created using microsoft word.
