This activity uses well-chosen examples to highlight the different features of the graphs of rational functions, including: domain, intercepts, vertical asymptotes, horizontal asymptotes, and holes. There is room for students to explain how these features are determined and to work a small example. At the end there are four questions for practice. Solutions and sample explanations (handwritten) are included for all pages. The full sheet is about two standard periods of material, or one with a homework assignment.
