Students will begin by reading about the South African Valentine's Day tradition of pinning the name of one's crush on their sleeve. They will then be tasked with writing their own story of this practice. Using the graphic organizer, students will be guided through the prewriting processes so they can confidently begin writing their own story!

The basic version focuses on having a beginning, middle, and end and details to support each area.
