Guided Math Interactive Notes
‘Guided Math Interactive Notes’ is aligned to the Math Common Core Standards CC.1.OA.1, CC.1.OA.3, CC.1.OB.4, CC.1.OA.C5, CC.1.OA.6, and CC.1.OA.8. It was created to give your students the opportunity to record their thinking and learning after a math lesson or during a math group. They can collect their thinking in a composition notebook and use their ‘notes’ in a discussion. This can also be given as weekend math journal activities or supplemental homework assignments. After your guided math discussion, have students choose (or you can assign) one ‘interactive note’ to include in their guided math journal.
