If you are looking for a great way to take anecdotal notes on your students during small group time, this is for you!
Each time you meet with your students, you can make quick notes and rate the students based on your informal assessments.
Materials needed once you print out this document:
*Two pieces of card stock, construction or regular paper (your choice).
How to set up your binder:
*At the beginning and end of the binder you will need to insert your regular sized pieces of paper (with your choice of paper).
*Cut the sides of the anecdotal papers about 1 1/2 inches, or almost to the line of the boxes.
*Hole punch your anecdotal papers and insert them in the binder in between the two regular sized pieces of paper.
*You will notice that you can see the ends of the regular sized paper. This is where you can write the names of your students.
*I glued the front of the very first anecdotal note page to the card stock at the beginning of the binder and the last anecdotal note page to the other piece of card stock. It makes it helpful when you open the binder day to day. It will start and eventually end with a full week view of all of your students.
**I will be adding pictures shortly of what mine looks like so you can get a better idea! ;)
