Thank you for viewing my Guided Math Kinder Kick Start chart! This chart has helped me manage this important part of my day! This chart will get you started with guided math. There are four rotations of 15 minutes each. I have included an EDITABLE schedule chart for you to post next to the guided math chart!
UPDATE: This is now FULLY EDITABLE! Change the fonts and the labels to fit your classroom's unique needs! I hope this helps you organize and manage your guided math and/or guided reading time! Please share how you've personalized it! :)
A little guidance: Break up your kids into four groups: below, low average, high average, and above. Your main meaty lesson is going to take place at your table in about 10-12 minutes. During that time your other groups are going to be working individually (interactive notebook, worksheet, etc) on technology with math apps/websites, and at centers. I plan 5 centers for the week and the kids rotate each day. They do ONE hands on center per day. There are 1-2 kids at a center (6 max in a group) so there will be about 3 centers out for the day. These are your clipping through the year, spinners, and task card centers. Each day you will have to move the names (use Velcro to attach). After a while the kids will know their group’s schedule and will only have to check where they are going for hands on center time.
Please read the printing directions carefully (located within the product) and let me know if you have any questions!! Happy Teaching :)
