Guided Math is a great way to instruct students in math. There are so many resources out there and lots of ways to organize and run them. This is just an organizational tool that can be used with ANY "program" or packet for Guided Math. I wanted to make Math even more fun (I LOVE MATH as it is!)
Instead of Groups... We had PARTIES! Dinner parties to be exact. Each student went through 4 courses. Every day. Parties changed as math skills changed. Using this will help your classroom run smooth!
The 4 courses: Main Course: Meet with Teacher, Appetizer: Review Practice, Dessert: Problem Solving and After Dinner Mints: Fact Fluency.
What you get: A display: click on the preview to see how it looked in my classroom.
Organizational Tools: I created books to keep notes on students. I also have pages for you to create a book to record lessons and activities.
You will get editable files for the display (in case you don't like the names of my "courses" . You will get editable files for the student notes, Homework recording and for the instructional plans. These will be helpful to you in keeping notes and records-and can be used to make books to keep notes OR you can do it directly in PowerPoint (or in google drive as "slides"
I will be having a blog post coming soon to explain how this was used in a little bit. Make sure to check it out!
