Conversation Cards are a great way to get students discussing a book they have just read. It will ask them a range of questions from asking them to describe a key event in the book to describing their favourite character! It will also get them to think outside the book, encouraging them to make connections with the real world. I use the same cards every time we finish a book as a class - they are very confident with answering these questions and it prompts them to dig deeper and ask further questions.
6 sheets with 6 conversation cards each
This is a great exercise to do with students when you have completed a book study.
I've used this in UK years 5-10 (American/International grades 4-9). Yo
