Using the Product:
These foldables can be used during guided reading instruction or as independent practice. As with any new task, make sure to model the activities for students before expecting them to complete the foldable on their own. Allowing the students to discuss the questions orally first during their guided reading group will make it easier for students to complete the responses in writing. Each foldable follows a similar pattern so that once students become familiar with how to use the foldable there will be less modeling needed.

Printing Instructions:
Print each foldable front-to-back and then fold the paper in half to make a small booklet. If you print this whole document front-to-back, the foldables will be aligned correctly. They are also clearly labeled.
