Circle the strategy focus: (comprehension, accuracy, fluency, expand vocabulary)
List each student and their personal goals
Track the following skills:
Preview: Make - confirm - revise predictions, use text structures
Connect: T - S, T - T, T - W
Vocabulary: Context clues, affixes - roots, synonyms-antonyms-homophones, figurative language
Author's Purpose: Word choice, language, characters, setting, identify questions to be answered, determine fact-opinion, compare-contrast
Focus Points: Character, lot, conflict-resolution, cause-effect, main idea, summarize, structural patterns
Respond to Text: Questions to clarify viewpoint, draw conclusions, inferences, schema, support opinions-predictions--conclusions
Personalize for your specific needs:
Plans - plenty of space to write your plans for the group
Daily Assignment - Date and write in what you worked on each session
Keep notes about your students - write their names at the top of each column and write individual notes for each student to track progress as you meet with the group

Cut them out and laminate one for each student to keep in their book boxes.
Personalize with: student's name, current reading level, short term reading level goal, and end of the year goal
Set a goal:
Circle specific goal ~ Comprehension, accuracy, fluency, expand vocabulary
Write in specific strategy the student is working on
