Thanks for looking at this set for guided reading. I have taken the Common Core Standards for Literature, Informational Text, and Language for first grade and turned them into task cards for students to respond to while exploring their books. Each standard has its own card.
The cards can be copied and put into notebooks and used as a journal where the children write out their responses or the cards can be laminated and used for discussion during reading group time. I use the cards in a journal and have the student respond to them by writing on the page where they have the task glued. I usually do this while I am taking running records with the group so that the kids stay focused on an objective while I am working with the student whom I am taking the record on.
Though the standards used are for first grade, I think second grade students could use the cards as well.
