This guided reading word work packet can be used as an early intervention for non-readers or struggling readers. It targets the blending and decoding skills students can lack.
The teacher will teach students the skills the blend through the words and decode the sounds and use this as a way to progress monitor or keep track of the work they have completed.
Contains one nonsense word 6 week progress monitoring system and one blending / word chain 6 week progress monitoring system. Word lists are included as are letter cards and sound boards.
