‘Non-Fiction Guided Reading Interactive Notes’ was created to give your students the opportunity to record their thinking after or during a reading group or whole-group lesson. They can collect their thinking in a composition notebook and use their ‘notes’ in a discussion. This can also be given as weekend reading journal activities, supplemental homework assignments, or used in centers.
After your guided reading discussion, have students choose (or you can assign) one interactive activity to include in their guided reading journal.
