This is a poster set to display both: your student groupings for Guided Reading, and indicators for each Guided Reading Level. It is a great tool for your students to understand what reading level they are working towards, and for observers to understand the goals that your specific groups of students are working towards achieving.

Rationale: Upon searching the entire Internet, I could not find any displays that combined the Fountas and Pinnell Guided Reading Level Indicators, along with a space for teachers to display student groupings. I combined both into what I believe is a useful tool for our classrooms. When I refer to students “guided” reading level, this is their instructional reading level—the level that we as teachers are trying to support them in achieving. For example: if I have a student in a group on the level B poster, this means that they really read independently at a level A.
Included in this set: You are receiving (8) eight different choices of title pages to be displayed as a poster, along with Fountas & Pinnell Guided Reading Level Indicators for levels A through S. The only parts of this product that are editable are the sections on the title page to display your name and class, and the amount of groups you would like to display for each reading level. Also included is a page where you can enter students names and photos so that you can show visual groupings on each reading level. The actual language used to describe the indicators for each reading level is from the book “Guided Reading: Nonfiction Focus, 2nd Edition”, by Fountas & Pinnell.
I hope you enjoy this resource, and I would appreciate it if you would check out the rest of the products at my store!
