This is my guided reading guide for use by bilingual English and Spanish teachers. It includes: guiding questions and ideas for selecting appropriate texts and setting a focus for learning, before, during, and after reading ideas, observational note taking ideas, teaching prompts, and teaching points for emergent to transitional readers. I have also developed an observational notes code system to help make taking observational notes of individual students quick and easy!
