Teaching guided reading groups can be a challenge. For the past couple of years I have struggled with organization of my groups and keeping track of data. This bundle is a compilation of resources that I found helpful for me. I know they will be helpful for you as well!
Included in this resource:
- Finding Levels: charts that help you find independent and instructional levels. In addition, this chart tells you if a book is too challenging for a student.
-Note pages: 4 different options of pages to take notes during your groups.
-Reading Level Groups: Easily make your guided reading groups with the help of these documents! As you assess students, write their name under their corresponding level. Easily see your groups naturally form themselves! After this, use the blank document to organize your groups onto one page.
-Reading Level Logs: Keep record of your students' levels during each of the 9 weeks, or by month. There are four different options included, so you will be sure to find one that works for you. This will help you easily see the growth of your whole class at once!
-Running Record Progress: After completing a running record, use your student's individual graph to show their growth.
-Running Record: This file includes two easy to use running record forms.
-Student Progress Graphs: Students can independently graph their progress throughout the year. They sure love to see their hard work pay off as the graph keeps climbing!
I hope this resource helps to keep you organized throughout your guided reading time. Enjoy!
