This resource includes 36 task cards that you can use during Literacy or Guided Reading lessons.
The task cards include basic comprehension questions (about the characters, setting, and action of the story), for example, literal questions such as "What was the problem in the story? How was it resolved?".
However, these task cards are extremely useful as they also require the students to complete more challenging and engaging tasks, for example, writing their own blurb for the book or writing an alternate ending for the story.
Furthermore, the task cards are enjoyable and require creative thinking or drawing (for example, drawing a comic strip for the story or designing a new front cover for the book).
Enjoy and please rate if you like it :)
