I have broken down each guided reading level (A-T) in order to both describe the Characteristics of each as well as, note the Behaviors to Notice and Support specific to that level. I have created two options to help you organize your small group reading instruction (either large or small cards).
This has helped me so much with my guided reading groups. I can quickly flip to the small group reading level and focus my lessons on skills pertinent to that level. Incidentally, I am able to use these cards as a visual reference for parent teacher conferences. I print out the level their child is on and give it to them to take home.
Suggested application. . .
