Per customer request, I have made the Lesson Plan Templates for each level of my Guided Reading Lesson Planning Resource Toolkit available to purchase separately.
NOTE: The drop down menus and other interactive features in this template will NOT work on a MAC computer.
These templates are Word documents created using Microsoft Word 2010. The interactive features are only accessible on a PC computer with Microsoft Word 2007 or later installed. The interactive features will not work on a Mac computer or a PC with Windows 2003.
Being able to purchase the Lesson Plan Templates separately will be beneficial for those teachers who teach multiple grade levels - making it possible for these teachers to assess multiple levels of the Toolkit without having to purchase two or more entire sets. This Template is for the Kindergarten Level of the Toolkit. This template contains drop down menus for all of the following:
(1) The Common Core State Standards in Reading: Literature, Informational and
(2) Before, During and After Reading Instructional Strategies and Activities, as well as Comprehension and Fluency instructional strategies and activities; and
(3) Assessments/Evaluation methods to be used to assess student learning during/after the lesson.
The drop-down menus are real time-savers for teachers in completing lesson plans. In addition, there are several plain text content control typing fields for teachers to easily and quickly insert information related to the lesson.
This template was designed and developed to be used in conjunction with the Guided Reading Lesson Planning Resource Toolkit.
NOTE: The drop down menus and other interactive features in this template will NOT work on a MAC computer or a PC with versions of Microsoft Word earlier than 2007.
Note: There is a character limitation in the drop down menus. No more than 256 characters can be entered into the drop down list or displayed in the document. Therefore, for those standards containing more than 256 characters, the majority of the standard will be displayed, but all characters beyond the 256 limit will be cut off when inserted into the document.
