Product Description
This is a culminating activity that asks students to provide a counter claim to the idea that Macbeth is damned by the end of the play. YES, we ALL know that, but this activity has students go back and analyze his decisions and show where he COULD have sought redemption had he only tried. This is just part one of the assignment that has students seeking out textual evidence. You could stop there OR there's also a creative component to the assignment where the students must visually recreate the idea that Macbeth's guilt compounds based upon his choices.
This includes a rubric for the first part as well as a fairly generic project rubric that allows your students to pitch ideas on top of the 7 options we have provided.
