PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Guinee Fare, West African Dance rhythms is a collection of dance rhythms of various tempos played on traditional instruments including djembes, dunduns, bell and shekere. This c.d. has been popular with dancers, music and movement educators, fitness instructors and anyone who loves African drumming.
The unique rhythm, Wolossodon, used with the slave dance has been included for its historical significance. The 3 tempos medium-slow-fast correspond to: the village before slavery - the oppression of slavery - freedom from slavery
