PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Imagine a 6th or 7th grader being introduced to Guns, Germs, and Steel, and actually GETTING IT! Thought by many to be a 10th grade resource, this fresh approach to making sense of our modern world - global inequalities and the related problems those inequalities engender - can now be shared with 6th thru 9th graders. Using a simple acrostic and a Cornell Note-Taking template linked to that acrostic, students can create their own summary paragraph based on a three-page summary of this fascinating story that tackles the question, "Why is our world so unequal?"
