This activity is a fun way for novice learners of Spanish to practice the phrases "Me gusta…" and "Te gusta…" In this game, students will have the opportunity to interact exclusively in the target language until a task is completed, with the support of questions provided for them on the handout.
Speaking Spanish aloud can be a stressful experience for many students. I find that this BINGO game is a great way to break the ice, as it gets everyone up and on their feet, conversing about likes and dislikes, and feeling good about having used the language to reach a goal. Additionally, if you have students choose Spanish names for use in class, this can be a fun way for students to learn and use everyone's new names!
This listing includes the BINGO handout for students and teacher instructions, including suggestions for optional closing activities. The Word document may be edited if you would like to change any of the questions to better suit your curriculum or the interests of your students.
