You can modify the game to suit your needs. This is classic memory to be played in groups of 2. Players take turns looking for a match. There is no english so the game stays in the target language with matches being a union of a Spanish sentence plus the picture that illustrates what is being "liked".
I make this a rigourous classwork grade by 1) students say their matches in Spanish aloud to each other (no reason to speak in english) and 2) Students must write down their own and their partners' matches. I explain this in detail in the document.
Also included is a MASTER CLASSWORK COPY which can be projected on overhead so that after you have given sufficient time for the game, the class can go over the answers together and correct their work.
I collect the written work as a classwork grade.
Detailed suggestions inside. Enjoy!
PS - obviously I suggest laminating but you can throw this together for "tomorrow" without doing so if you are in a pinch. Then go back later when you have more time and make a new laminated set.
