The purpose is for students to practice using gusta/gustan correctly with food vocabulary.
Students first answer 4 questions about their food preferences (What foods do you like in soup?, what frutas do you like?, etc.). Then they navigate the classroom and ask 4 other students the same questions. They record their vocabulary answers but don't need to worry about forming a complete sentence right away. When the question is asked to them, they read their response.
There are several different extension ideas included to get students to change from 1st/2nd person to 3rd person by sharing out responses from their fellow students.
